This is the first of three child birthday cards for my March Card Class

This card uses two new stamp sets D1505 Roar! and D1508 Diverse Backgrounds.
I stamped the entire front of the card with the speckled background stamp and Bamboo ink. The dinosaurs are stamped in Sorbet, Pear, and Pacifica. The bones are Pacifica and the saying is Pear. I edged the card and the saying with Sorbet ink and a sea sponge Texture Tool. The card base is Colonial White. The saying is backed by Pacifica card stock. The card is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.

My Granddaughter Phoenix had alot of fun using the fourth dinosaur in the set. Her favorite color is blue, so no matter what image she is stamping, it is always BLUE.

The colors are Blush, Tulip, and Grey Wool.
The hearts and keys were cut using the Art Philosophy cartridge. The keys are tied with White Daisy Embroidery Floss.

January card class

Here is the first card for my January card class.
It features the Rock the Block set which is the January special.
The colors are Black and Cranberry. The button and pin are from the Bling Assortment Z1466.

I was inspired by a card from fellow consultant Brenda Rose. You can see her fabulous card here http://roseblossomlegacies.blogspot.com/2011/12/families.html

November Card Class - card #3

photobucket-2592-1321142311240.jpg image by musthavestamps

This is the third card for my November card class.

All supplies are Close To My Heart.

Size is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4

This card features the stamp set Key Moments (B1392) and the paper pack is Sonoma. The diamond pattern at the top and the stripe pattern at the bottom are from a two sided paper. The green with diamond piece in between is the "zip strip" from the top of this two sided paper. I cut the circle that the clock face is stamped on from the Art Philosophy cartridge because I wanted to put foam tape under it to pop it out to give the clock face dimension. There is also foam tape under the saying.

I cut two 1/4" green circles from the Art Philosphy cartridge to put on the bottom right corner to balance it out. All of the paper edges were sponged in Cocoa.

The colors used were Cocoa, Olive, and Smokey Plum.

November Card Class - card #2

photobucket-4582-1320017967142.jpg image by musthavestamps

This is the second card for my November card class.

All supplies are Close To My Heart

Size is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4

This card features the stamp set Harvest Happiness (C1463). And believe it or not it also uses the Dreamin' paper pack like the last card. You can achieve very different looking cards using the same paper pack. The circle strip is the "zip strip" from the top of the paper. Each two sided paper has a strip at the top with a coordinating design on one side and the paper pack info on the other.

The leaves, acorn, and scalloped oval were all cut with the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. Then stamped with the matching stamp shapes. So easy!

There is also a Wooden button tied with Natural Hemp.

The colors used were Dutch Blue, Goldrush, Chocolate, Sunflower, and Bamboo.
